The Coral Sea

We have seen it written that this curvy drive sometimes with no guard-rails can be a white-knuckle experience when taken on a dark rainy night by one unfamiliar with the road. But when we rode the Sun Palm Bus to Port Douglas, it was a glorious sunny day, and the Coral Sea was beautiful.

Coral Spawn Just Off Shore

Our driver told us that the muddy water just off the beach was actually coral spawn. But we later found out that this was not the case. The coral had not spawned recently.
