Gadsden, Alabama and DeSoto State Park

Gadsden, Alabama is about half way between Birmingham and Chattanooga, Tennessee.
It is about one hour northeast of Birmingham on Interstate Highway 59.

DeSoto State Park is near Ft. Payne on the Lookout Mountain Parkway (State Hwy. 89)
north of Gadsden. Take Highway 211 out of Gadsden and turn north on Tabor Rd.
(at the Noccalula Falls Park and Campground).
