Welcome to Alberta

This welcome park and overlook are not far from the port of entry. We almost missed it, and had to turn around and come back to it. The pictures on this and the next page were taken form or near this vantage point.

By the way, in case you're wondering, the officer at the border didn't ask for any identification. He simple asked if we were carrying any alcohol, tobacco, or fire arms. We weren't.
