On Vancouver Island
Observation Tower
This one is built to look like the masts of a sailing ship.

Only one flag was flying at the time the picture was taken. Undoubtedly, this is the place where they would fly storm-warning flags when the need would arise, although it seems an unlikely event in this very sheltered harbor.
