Rhododendrons at the Border
If you want to travel in the Northwest, May is an excellent time to do it.
The weather is perfect and the Rhodies are out in their full splender.
A Landscaped Greeting
This little park greets those entering Canada on I-5 from Washington.
Bilingual Traffic Signs at Border Crossing
Canada is a bilingual country, so all the signs are in English and French.
Man Poses at Currency Exchange
He wasn't posing for our camera, but
the opportunity was there, so why not?
Totem poles are emblematic of the
peoples that are indigionous to the
British Columbia and
Southeastern Alaska regions of the
Northamerican west coast.
The currency exchange and visitor information center are conveniently
located at the border crossing.
