Milton Lewis's Painting of Pagosa Springs

Milton Lewis's water color of the Pagosa Springs, reproduced here with his permission, looks like we would all want the springs to look today. He and wife Pam, run the Wagon Wheel Frame Shoppe in Pagosa Springs. This painting hangs in the Pagosa Springs Visitor Center, and was one we had to add to our collection. A trip to his gallery at 414 Pagose St. is like a trip to the candy store. I felt like I wanted one of these, one of those, and much more. But, this trip, I had to settle for this one only .
Check out his website, www.miltonlewis.com/ to see more examples of his work.

This concludes our photo tour from this trip. Click the painting to return to the home page of this photo tour, or click the Tylers' Travels button below to go to Tylers' Travels home page. There are a few more pictures taken in the area — Durango and Wolf Creek Pass — that will be added to the sites already containing pictures of those locations.

Most of those pictures were taken when we were seeking yellow trees in October 1998. Here's a link to the Pagosa Springs / Wolf Creek Pass pictures. From there you can easily navigate to Durango.
