Snake River Gorge Bridge You cross this bridge when you arrive in Twin Falls from any direction other than south. Cross the bridge then turn right to go to the Visitor Center for a view of this spectacular gorge and information about Twin Falls and Idaho. Be sure to get the directions to Shoshone Falls, which we will show next.

Snake River Gorge This is, of course, many miles above the Hells Canyon Dam, and this river irrigates miles and miles of farms on this rich volcanic soil. We saw irrigation sprinklers running more sprinklers at one time than anybody from the arid southwestern regions could imagine.
