Kentucky Cares

We arrived at the Lexington Embassy Suites Hotel at 6:08 PM.

We didn't learn until about the time of this writing that they have a hotel in Lower Manhattan.
All of those windows were broken in the tragic attack in New York City, and the facility sustained many millions of dollars in damage. The broken windows allowed ash and debris in to cover everything on the inside of the building. They have just reopened.

This hotel was about the nicest of our whole trip! Their prices were very reasonable. It was a 4-star hotel for the price of a 3-star motel. We ate dinner in their dining room, and the food was good. We did some laundry and after securing plenty of quarters to opperate the machines, we found they were available at no charge! They served free coctails in the lobby in the evening and a full breakfast in the morning at no charge. What a deal! And in such nice surroundings too.

This stay was definitely a nice introduction to this hotel chain.
