Peeking Across A Stone Fence Into Field

We were delighted to learn about the homestead from Dr. Bruce Tyler, who, in his retirement has become a genealogist tracing the Job Tyler line.

We went on to Lowell, the home of Owen's grandfather, Stanley Cushing Tyler, before he migrated to the Texas Panhandle in the 1870s. We tried to find the family home of his father, Artemas, which we were told still exists. But the address on census records must have been for the business, which has since disappeared. Disappointed, we went on to Mystic, Connecticut.
