Columbine & Mixed Bed

after serving us a wonderful breakfast of all local ingredients, including ham and wild huckleberry jam.

We gained more appreciation of the Garden Wall Inn and other little inns run by individuals after a month of hotels and motels of varied price ranges. The commercial establishments use cheap bed pads that wrinkle during the night, and their housekeepers tuck the top sheet and blanket with the bottom sheet, so when you get into bed the whole thing falls apart! The end result is most uncomfortable.

Our bed at the Garden Wall was most luxurious!

Bleeding Hearts in yard.

These Texans really enjoyed the luxurant foliage in the yard. We could not help but compare it to the drough-stricken landscapes we had traveled through in Eastern New Mexico.

We've had a nice visit in Whitefish, and now we'll go to Glacier National Park.
