Ticonderoga

We stopped in town a minute to enjoy the view of the waterfall in the park.

The road through the park — once the Carillon Battlefield — leading to the fort is lined with
monuments. This battlefield was the site of the greatest French victory in French and Indian War
(a.k.a. the Seven Years’ War). This battlefield also saw action in the American Revolution.
