The Arneson Theater
This theater may be a unique venue for dance in this country, in that the audience sits across the river from the stage. It's 7:42 PM. The boat load of people are a little early to get a glimpse of the performance which doesn't start until 8:00 PM.

The show began promptly at 8:00 PM. This picture taken at 8:02 shows the dance ensemble well into a rousing Mexican folk dance. Some research on the topic, let to the good fortune of communicating with Art Villarreal, spokesman for the dance company. He has graciously helped with the identification of several of the dances in the show. This opening dance and the costumes come from the state of Nayarit. The dance is Jarabe Nayarit.
