The famous Riverwalk along the banks of the San Antonio River in downtown San Antonio has become the trademark of the historic city. They took an area which was something less than desirable and made it into an asset which lures turists and adds to the economy of the city. This was Gertrude's first picture taken in San Antonio. She had just received a new Canon PowerShot S-70, ordered to replace an S-50 that had failed while on a Mediterranean Cruise the previous month.
