Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah

Near Cedar City
Trip Day Twenty-six: Friday, July 7, 2000

Upon arrival, we show our Golden Age Pass, and gain entry to Cedar Breaks National Monument without additional cost. If you plan to enter even one national park or monument, do get the annual pass (or lifetime pass if you're a senior citizen), it will pay off if you make more than one entry to a federal area. This got allowed free passage into the Golden Spike Historical Site too. Then we walked up the path to the overlook at the edge of the cliff. On the way we stopped to enjoy the wild flowers and their cousins.

This is what you see!
