Trip Day Five: June 16, 2000

West Thumb This is beside Yellowstone Lake.

Carnival Atmosphere in Parking Lot The barker made a lot of noise on the PA System. We were surprised to see such a circus allowed in a national park. Nobody seemed interested in their free show and they were pretty much ignored.

The devistating 1988 fire came this close! We see the corner of a guest cabin and charred trees in this picture. These cabins are quite close to the Old Faithful Inn.
