Between Lahaina, Maui and Bora Bora

7:17 AM ~ The seas have been calm to allow us to just glide along.

There really are no holes in the ocean as suggested by the dips in the horizon on these pictures above and below. The apparent holes are caused by the clouds associated with distant rain storms obscuring part of the horizon.
Certificates
Crossing the Equator

We crossed the equator at 10:31 AM on October 4th, 2007, and received certificates as proof thereof. And they had a ceremony on deck that afternoon. (You will be able to see some of those pictures in the section of the site devoted to pictures of the Sun Princess.) We didn't, however have to submit to being dragged under the keel as often happened to the sailors of old.

October 5th: The clouds provided us with this spectactular sky about dinner time.

October 6th, a crescent moon at 3:33 AM bodes fair sailing
into the lagoon at Bora Bora later this morning.
