On Board the Sun Princess

Entertainment

The Princess Theater

Forward on the Promenade Deck, the Princess Theater saw people looking for seats 25 minutes before show time. Paul Edison was going to entertain with the songs of Tony Bennet, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Vic Damone, Neil Diamond, and more. Normally, each show was presented twice in an evening. We learned that sometimes when people weren't satisfied with their seats the first time, they went back to see it again, which had the side effect of preventing some from seeing the show at all.

Mickey Finn & Cathy Reilly

We were pleased to see these folks again. We used to watch Micky's TV show years ago.
Both are extremely good at what they do.

We were treated to Las Vegas-style shows about once a week. No cameras were allowed then.

Singers entertained the second half of the show.

Besides the Princess Theater, there is the Vista Show Lounge. Both venues had shows going every night. And the various cocktail lounges around the ship had entertainment every night too. We didn't lack for things to do.

Hilo Dancers Hula

A troop of young dancers from Hilo came aboard to entertain us in the late afternoon.
We filled the theater in anticipation of their performance.

Maori @ Auckland

A Maori folkloric group entertained in early evening while we were docked in Auckland.
The Maori group filled the theater to capacity.
