Trail Near the Waterfall Overlook
It wasn't so hard to get down there, but it's all up hill from here to get back to the road.
There were moments when Pat wondered if she would be able to make the 200 or so steps back to the top.
She had climbed the 222 steps from the end of the train line to the summit of Corcovado Mountain in Rio de Janeiro to view Cristo Redentor statue, so expected the trek to be similar, but this trail is very rugged with only rudimentary improvements. The pace was much faster than before.
