Trip Day Thirty-three: Friday, October 26, 2007
|
Olympic Park, Homebush Bay
Open spaces and streets are elegantly paved in brick.
|
This is Olympic Stadium
This is where they staged that opening extravaganza for the games of in the year of the millenium.
We assume these posts in front of the building were used for crowd control in some way. Labels on each
post displays a list of names with a category. We assume that this is their way of putting the donors'
names before the public.
|
Solar collectors stand near the stadium. Australians take pride in their energy saving strategies.
They even use recycled rain water for the stadium toilets.
