Wildlife in Trees

A Nest Swinging In The Breeze Actually the color of the hanging nest has been enhanced a bit so that you could see it. The actual color is about the same as the tree branches nearby.

Fruit Bats These nocturnal fruit bat "camps" are hanging in the trees as they sleep. They will awaken at dusk and go out hunting for fruit for their dinner. They are important to the life cycle of the fruits they consume. These fruits depend on the bats for pollination or seed dispersal: bananas, peaches, dates, carob, avocados, jack fruit, plantains, mango, guava, cashews, figs, and durian.
