A Private Retreat

We follow a trail through the woods.
And take the stairs down an embankment.

The Ole Swimmin' Hole And find a perfectly lovely tranquil spot for a nice afternoon swim in the rainforest. The depth was just right for a bit of swimming or splashing and playing. After the chill on the Barrier Reef the previous day, Pat passed on the swimming invitation, as did Owen.

They merely enjoyed the beautiful scene while the others enjoyed the dip.
And after a sumptuous lunch at a sheltered picnic table we
were off to our next discovery in the rainforest.
