The ocean is not just deep sea blue. It displays many colors depending on the depth, the weather, and other factors.

Looking down at the bow wake of the ship, I noticed that the water just under the white
foam was often about the same color as the glaciers that we had recently visited in Alaska.
Could there be a connection in the reasons for the similar color?
