A rare stand of decidious redwoods
Landscape architect, Roger Presburger said these are quite rare. Perhaps, they are the only trees of this kind outside of California.

They built this retreat for Mao in the 1950s.
I was sorry that time didn't permit snapping a picture of the front entry. This place is huge. He must have had party members stay here for vacations or meetings at the lake.
Pagoda
This pagoda stands at the end of the peninsula opposite Mao's retreat.
The sticks standing in the water probably indicate the a pearl oyster farm lies out there.
It's time for us to go to the airport to catch our plane to Shanghai. We'll be there next.
