Hwy 4, The Road To Tofino
Lake Kennedy
When you see the waters of Lake Kennedy, you have nearly completed the crossing.

Pacific Rim National Park Visitors Center
This is the first signs of civilization we have seen since leaving
Port Alberni more than an hour before.
We had planned to do some hiking in the park, but it didn't work out.
A Sign of the Tides ~ Beware of Bears
The visitors center is actually at an intersection. You can go south to Ucluelet or north to Tofino.
On our Vancouver Island map, it appears to be a bend in the road near the west coast.
We still have a short way to go to reach Pacific Sands Resort which
will be our Tofino headquarters for the next couple of days.
Tofino is next.
