This is San Diego Bay

The Live Bait Dock, Harbor Excursion
October 3, 2000

Here's a live bait dock similar to the one near our hotel in Mission Bay. Due to the great amount of fishing boat traffic using this bay, the dock is more than twice as large as the one on Mission Bay. A customer is loading bait at the left edge of the picture.

The birds and sea lions love to hang around these bait docks. Sometimes the workers will throw them a tidbit.

The sea lions don't bother to stop their play as we glide by.

The pelicans and gulls look for handouts as the bait customer loads his tanks.
