Sausalito
Our highway tunnels through the hill above.
We're about ready to load up and continue on our path to Sausalito.
Lunch In Sausalito
Sausalito Park
Due to our late start, we didn't have the anticipated time to browse the shops after lunch,
but we did find the yogert shop and had cones of arguably the best yogert anywhere.
The seagulls didn't waste time looking for leftovers. They demanded treats.

Although the streets are busy. This laid-back town makes room for leisure travelers too.
|
Leaving Sausalito we travel north on the Redwood Highway then west to Muir Woods National Monument,
an area where native redwood trees have been preserved.
