Salmon, Idaho
Heading South Along The Salmon River
Trip Day Twenty-four: Wednesday, July 5, 2000
|
 |
As we drove south towart the Sawtooth Mountains and the Salmon's source the scenery became more varied.
Beautiful farming valleys alternated with dry, rocky hills and mountains. Although the scenery is looking
more like that of the Salmon's confluence with the Snake River, that happens a long way down river to the
north and east of where we are now. We'll soon be in the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley, Idaho on Idaho State Highway 75.
