Houses Of Hancock

The Keweenaw Peninsula

Day 7, Sunday, August 19, 2001

This is Hancock.

This house of worship in Hancock is typical of the red brick building style.

It's always interesting to me to see the architecture of the housing in different places.

I'm most interested in the middle class houses.

There are always the beautiful mansions, some of which are architectual wonders. And there are always the hovels that pretty much look the same where-ever you go. But the middle class makes a statement of the prevailing styles of the time and place they were built.
