A Tiny Waterfall of Meltwater

from the snow patch above cascades over the bank abover the road.

We encounter a large snow bank where the road has been cleared near the summit of Logan Pass. One book stated that it will often be late August before this 70-foot-high drift will melt away. It is interesting to speculate what might happen if the climate began to cool once more. Would a new glacier form here?
