Sunrise Trial, Nova Scotia

Day 23: Tuesday, September 4, 2001

At the Visitor Center they recommended the Sunrise Trail as the scenic way to get to Baddeck on Cape Breton Island. This route was about the same distance and required about the same road time as the main highway, Trans Canada 104. We enjoyed that scenic highway along the coast.

River @ Port Philip

We were immediately impressed with the orderly and prosperous farms along the road between Amherst and Linden on the coast.

Pugwash

It wasn't quite 12:30 PM, and we had made it all the way to Pugwash, a charming little port town.
