Lockport, New York

|
Only 25 miles northeast of Buffalo and closer to industrial Niagara Falls,
this community was an industrial leader in the 19th century. In the
latter 20th century some of the factories have moved to other locations.

Grace Episcopal Church on Genessee Street
The houses also on Genessee Street, are on the block nearest the canal—one of
the oldest in town. These charming houses were not new a century ago.
