This is part of intake pool for the power plant.

We're looking over the top of the dam (under water) that controls the level of the power plant intake pool.

Niagara Falls, New York is seen in the distance at right.

Horseshoe Falls Mist

4:06 PM: We're looking downriver at the top of Horseshoe Falls.
Ontario's Skylon Tower juts above the horizon near the center of the picture.
The tall building that seems to grow out of the edge of the tree is the Sheraton On The Falls — our destination hotel. Buildings on the right horizon are in Niagara Falls, New York.

Well, we're here. We're in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
