Visitor Center

It began to rain as we got out of the car at the Visitor Center. So we enjoyed the rain shopping for tee shirts. We found a couple of attractive ones, too.

You might want to spend more time at the Badlands than we did. We didn't hike down any of the trails. We only got out at a few of the overlooks. But we did get a quick view of the area. The drive only took about an hour, and we would have spent part of that time on the Interstate anyway. We'll have plenty of time to make it to Pierre before dark.
