The Bluebonnets are back!
After an absence of about three years, spring rains brought the bluebonnets back to the Granbury area.
They were very much in evidence the day we drove out to watch the water spray over the spillways of the dam.

It's just water over the dam!
After receiving more than 5" of rain within 4 days the previous week Lake Granbury was full and the Brazos River Authority was sending some of the surplus down stream.
Nine gates were open alowing water to flow through.
