The Arrival Of The Faithful

It was 10:41 AM on Sunday morning. People were arriving for 11 o'clock mass.
Even today we can see hints of the past glory on the façade of this grand old mission church.

Exquisite craftsmanship on the frontier

Gertrude recalled that the window on the left is is known as the Rose Window. A lot of San Antonio families claim that an ancestor worked on it. Those claims may not be far-fetched. It's entirely possible that the craftsmen who created the window had a lot of descendants,
and that those families have stayed in the area.

We don't seem to have time for such fine craftsmanship in modern society.
