Day 7, Sunday, August 19, 2001

8:30 AM. We make a short stop to watch a coal ship unload near the Ashland Power Plant.

In spite of our disappointment in the cruise yesterday, we enjoyed Bayfield, and wish we could have stayed longer. They have an arts community that always adds interent to a place. We hope we can return to Bayfield some day. But we must get on the road and head for Hancock on Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula on Lake Superior and a part of the Upper Peninsula.
