The forces or erosion are working full time on these mountains.
Right: We were in the back of a box canyon when we saw these 5 waterfalls cascading down the cliff. The light yellow-green foliage on these mountains are mostly ferns.
We leave the green canyons and haver over the main crater, or maybe it is more properly refered to as a caldera, as it is quite large. At right the road goes into the trees to the gate of Jurassic Park. We learned at the San Diego Wild Animal Park that this is a double gate, similar to those of their animal habitats.
