Larnach Castle
Formal Gardens
The formal gardens with their many greens were splendid on this early spring day. October 20th in the southern hemisphere is equivalent to March 20th in the north.
|
Rhododendron Envy
People who live in the southwestern U.S. cannot enjoy rhododendrons and azaleas because
the soils are too alkaline for them, so we always enjoy visiting places where they grow
in the spring when they are in bloom.
|
Tea Time In The Ballroom
This ballroom was built as a present for Larnach's daughter's twenty-first birthday. It now is the venu for many celebrations including weddings and community fund-raisers.
