![]() Trip Day Twenty-eight: Saturday, October 20, 2007 |
Port Chalmers is the port for Dunedin (pronounce it Dun edin) which was named for Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. It is on the shores of glacier-carved Carey's Bay and Otago Harbour, which was the crater of an extinct volcano. We can think of Dunedin as New Scotland, and with that in mind have decorated the picture frames in the Dunedin tartan. |
