Papeete Harbor

Tahiti is one of 118 islands that make up French Polynesia.

Ever since the famous French impressionist painter Paul Gauguin painted the Tahitian maidens, Tahiti has always had a mysterious allure.

6:41 AM ~ We glide past a park near our pier while the early morning sun blinds the east side of our view.

So interested in their adventure for the day, these sea kayakers glide past us with hardly a notice of this big ship coming into the harbor.

The pilot boat stands ready to pick up it's man when he has fulfilled his duties to the Sun Princess entering the port.
