Guanabara Bay at 7:13 AM

In spite of the fact that we should have been suffering a case of jet lag — it was only 3:30 AM at home in Central Time — we were eating an early breakfast on the balcony.

Rio beckons! We have a city tour scheduled that includes Corcovado Mountain with its famous statue of Christ the Redeemer and a cable car ride to the top of Sugar Loaf.
