This is the beautiful altar of the Cathedral of Cartagena. It is made of hand-carved Italian marble with 14k. gold trim.

Above & Immediately below: The remains of the patron saint of the Cathedral are in the glass and gold crypt that is the centerpiece of the altar.

Bottom: Here are a couple of snapshots of the quiet courtyard of the Palace Of The Inquisition. Exhibits there honor a priest who ministered to the slaves that the Spanish imported into Colombia.
