The Jasper Tramway

We had planned to take the tramway at Banff, but the weather didn't cooperate, so we headed for the Jasper Tramway fairly early the next morning.

It was still a bit cloudy, but the sun was peeking through, and it promised to be a beautiful day. Pat snapped a picture of the Jasper townsite from the cable car on the way up the mountain. The townsite is J-shaped.
