You can really buy emeralds on Emerald Deck!

Passengers are gathered on the mezzanine on Emerald Deck to shop for gold chains.
Several gift shops are line the sides of the ship on this deck just outside the Regency Dining Room.
This is the only deck with gift shops, and this is the only deck named for a gemstone.

Some people expect that a cruise ship doesn't have enough going on to keep them entertained while at sea. The figure they would become bored on those long days at sea. There's plenty to keep most people occupied and entertained. A theater dedicated to movies runs a variety to attract most folks, there are lectures, usually on topics associated with locations on the itinerary of the cruise. And the cruise director always has a variety of games and other activities on the schedule.

Then there are the ships that are amusement parks themselves, if that's what you like. Sports enthusiasts can climb a wall, go ice skating, or ride a surf board on the stern.

Lounging

Featuring live entertainment nightly, the Wheelhouse Lounge is the perfect place to spend a few minutes or a few hours. Centrally located on the Promenade Deck, it is also the muster station for about a third of the passengers. The muster station is where passengers are instructed to go for the pre-cruise emergency drill and in any real emergency.
