Along the Path

The path we walked was paved with concrete mixed with the local soil, so that it appeared to be
the natural mud. The plants twine around another until it's difficult to tell one from another.

Here is an example of the beginning of a cloud forest.
The mosses, ferns and other plants are just getting started to grow
on these rocks near the edge of the path.

There was a whole family of these little critters—cotamundy, I believe he said they were.
But they independently refused to all get within camera range at the same time.
