Village of North Head

Time to explore. We decided to take a drive down the east side of the island. Our first photo opportunities were at Flaggs Cove, across the bay from North Head.

1:41 PM: The beaches show the high tide fluctuations experienced on the island. This is a fact everywhere on the Bay of Fundy, where the tides experienced are the highest in the world. (Cooks Inlet in Alaska experiences the second highest tides in the world.)
